With an organization focused on innovation, R&D is a cornerstone in the construction of Arkema’s future.
In chemistry as in most other fields, innovation is the fruit of medium- and long-term projects that stand out from applicative research work geared to develop existing activities on a more immediate basis. In order to create conditions that help carry out these innovation projects through to their industrial transition as soon as they enter their mature phase, Arkema has set up an original incubator structure aiming in particular to develop an extensive range of ultra high performance materials, contribute to the development of new energy sources, and extend the scope of renewable raw materials in the design of both new processes and new products.
