Adventure Is Just Around the Corner at Arkema
The first step in the recruitment process is for us to meet and discuss your career aspirations in an interview.
Every one of our employees has a say in his or her career, which we will work together to further. Your future success and job satisfaction guarantee our mutual long-term success.
When you come to work for us, you can change job to suit your career ambitions and abilities whenever the right opportunities arise at Arkema.
Orientation Seminar
Within the first few months of your arrival at Arkema, you will attend an orientation seminar, irrespective of your job. The seminar is designed to allow you to:
-
Familiarize yourself with what we do, our overall strategy, our business and our products.
-
Gain better insight into how your career will develop.
-
Start to build a network of contacts at Arkema, a key ingredient in your future success.
At Arkema, we use the annual performance review and training to develop mobility.
Annual Performance Review
The annual performance review offers an ideal opportunity to consider a change of direction and plan any further training you might require. Your mobility might simply be functional, such as a change of position or profession, but it might also mean a change of location. In addition, the review gives you an opportunity to look at areas where your performance and skills have improved, and to discuss your hopes for the future.
Training
Arkema’s training policy is designed to support the strategic changes defined by senior management, since there can be no real change without appropriate training.
In addition, training is a prerequisite for establishing new contacts with other cultures and other people. It also facilitates the sharing of best practices and experience. The training programs already planned for 2006 will help Arkema to continue to forge its own unique identity.
Mobility
Mobility enhances the career capital of employees by placing them in a variety of contexts where they can broaden their skills in different environments. Mobility allows us to optimize our human resources, and our employees to pursue a satisfying, rewarding career.
